This come as a total surprise to me. When this book review was emailed to me I was floored by the high praised written about my book: Greatness is the Comeback. Writing the book was such a joy and to actual read a review from a stranger who actual thought it would be beneficial to others really makes the writing process and sharing it even better.
The Review from Daniel Tacker
Although I am trained as a counselor and have a large collection of resources, I am always looking around to find easy to use workbooks and self-help resources for my clients or for clients who cannot afford to come for individual therapy. I stumbled upon this comprehensive resource written by Alease Michelle McClenningham a few days ago.
Resources for self-help need to be a combination of education and application. What I mean by that is that the reader needs to learn relevant information and knowledge in the area where improvement is wished. Next, application methods, assignments or strategies need to be provided that are easy to do by the reader and work at the same time. Greatness in the Comeback has all of that in an easy to read format.
This book is all about a reinventing action plan. This is a comprehensive approach that many successful people in the world use to be proactive, creative and accountable to themselves. “Greatness is in the Comeback: 12 Action Steps in Discovering Ways to Reinvent Yourself” delivers what the title implies, although the reader has to be dedicated to make change happen.
The reader follows three distinctive parts of this book. In Part 1, “Training for the Comeback,” the reader discovers how to assess professional skills while learning how to manage your time and stress levels. Part 2 will teach the reader how to take the self-assessment developed in Part 1 and begin communicating their reinvention plan effectively and professionally via social networks. In Part 3, the reader discovers how to extend your reinvention plan through various media channels online and offline.
Throughout the book, the author shares a personal story, as well as experiences with reinventing herself. That information acts in my opinion as a virtual mentor, and with the detailed knowledge that is provided, as well as the numerous assignments, the reader has the tools to be part of dedicated change of self.
Many self-help books I have come across use difficult to comprehend language, as well as provide too much information on psychological theories. This book on the other hand, is very straight to the point, easy to comprehend, and most important, easy to apply to everyday life situations.
If you are looking to reinvent yourself, this is probably one of the better resources available at this time. As with any self-help resource, be prepared and willing to apply strategies, reflect on yourself, as well as practice newly learned skills. Change is within your reach, thanks to Alease Michelle McClenningham.

I want to thank Daniel for writing such a wonderful review. This was my first review and what a GREAT way to begin my book writing career. You too, can get a peek into my book: Greatness is in the Comeback. Read or download a FREE chapter of the book here. Book will be available for sale - July 31.
