Make sure that your blog has the track back feature. Let me tell you why. When you have the track back feature on your blog, you are allowing other people to link to your blog. Maybe someone has a post to post on their blog that is relevant to one of yours. They can use the talkback to your post, and send their readers to your blog so that they know what they are referring to. Another good thing to remember is that if someone gives you a track back, it is a courtesy to return that to their blog if at all possible.

How many "have to do's" each day actually don’t have to be done at all? - Are You Selfish?
When you’re trying to change your life or pursue a dream, what you don’t do is often as important as what you do. We’re all given the same 24 hours each day. It’s easy to feel like there’s not enough time to do what you really want to be doing. After all the “have to do’s” there’s barely any time left for the “want to do’s.”
When you actually think about your list of things you’re planning to do today or this week, how many of them could be deleted without consequences?
Working a business is a series of on going decisions. Every decision you make has an effect on other decisions. By choosing to spend your time as you do today, you’re deciding not to spend time doing the other things you’d really like to be doing.
So, are you being selfish by not sharing time with yourself? The things you don’t do free up time for other opportunities.
To make progress toward your goals, you’re going to have to get comfortable with not doing some of the things you do today. That means you’ll have to get comfortable with letting some negative consequences happen in favor of other positive consequences. Get comfortable with “letting lots of little bad things happen.” See, most people get consumed with minimizing all negative consequences of their decisions instead of maximizing the positive ones.
Your time is your time, time is precious. You have to decide how to spend it, otherwise other people's stuff will consume most of your precious time. Learn to say "no" get a little selfish. Learn how to be more selfish.
Here are 3 things I've learned to do to regain my precious time.
1) View your calendar at the beginning of the week.
I do this on Sunday evenings. I evaluate every appointment on my calendar. For each appointment, I ask myself "can I skip this appointment and what will be the consequences if I do" Then, I ask myself “can I do something else with that time ?”
2) Create a “stop doing list.”
I talked about creating a stop doing list in a previous creative business solution tip video and I still stand strong on this one. Create a stop doing list and remove the repetitive tasks that consume your time. Some of you might not be able to quit your repetitive tasks cold turkey, but you can stop having to do a lot of things if you plan ahead.
Think about all the things you do on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. Pick the ones that are not helping you make progress towards living out your creative business lifestyle. What if you just stopped doing them today? If you can’t stop doing them right now, could you create a plan to make it happen in a week or month or three months? Try it and see what happens.
3) Don’t be afraid to disappoint.
Here's a tough one and this is where you might be called selfish. When you try o please everyone around you it becomes an impossible task that will keep you from getting what YOU want to do!
Typically, I have Fridays off from teaching, and many of my family and friends ask me to run errands for them on Fridays. I say No- that's my time to get my things done. Many of my friends and family members called me spoiled and selfish. It sadden me at first- but I quickly got over it. So I say, get comfortable with letting some negative consequences happen in favor of bigger better things. A little selfishness might be just what you need to make a breakthrough.

A Facebook fan page is more than just another way to connect with prospects and customers online. Your Facebook fan page can:
Drive more traffic to your website
Build your email list
Sell more products/services
Announce special offers and promotions
Announce events
Share news
Provide value to your prospects and customers
Share photos and videos
Get feedback from clients and prospects
Improve your relationships with your prospects and customers
Improve Search Engine Optimization
Additionally:
Facebook fan pages are public
You can communicate directly with your “fans”.
When a person joins your fan page, it’s published in their News feed – this gives a viral quality to your fan page.
You have access to more than 500 million active users who log onto Facebook regularly and spend an average of 55 minutes per day on the site.
Facebook is now the 2nd most visited site in the world after Google
And Facebook fan pages are free!
Plain and simple, Facebook offers a huge potential to profit and grow your business.
But you already knew that, Right? If not, in this article - I will share with you the 5 steps required to create and profit from a Facebook Fan Page.
Step #1 Define Your Facebook Page’s Goals and Purpose
It’s a simple question. “What do you want to accomplish with your Facebook page?”
Ultimately you likely want to use your Facebook page to make more money and grow your business. But there are many ways to accomplish that and may directions to take. Perhaps a better question is, “How do you want to use your Facebook page to grow your business?”
As mentioned before there are several things your Facebook fan page can accomplish. They include but are not limited to:
Traffic generation
List building
Selling products/services
Announcements and promotions
Content and value
Building a community/strengthening relationship
But before you move onto the next step, spend some time brainstorming what you want to accomplish with your Facebook fan page.
Step #2 Identify and Research Your Audience
Before you create your page you want to make sure your audience is represented on Facebook. You want to make sure you’re planning and creating a page that will generate the traffic you desire. Often the best way to see if your audience is well represented on Facebook is to log on and start browsing. Search for friends by interest. Look at other pages that are relevant to your industry.
Take a few minutes to jot down who your audience is for your fan page. Then spend some time on Facebook making sure that they’re present and that your efforts will be profitable.
Experts strongly recommend using your name, not the name of your business. This is because people are looking to connect with other people on Facebook, not companies.
Once you have created your Facebook fan page, you will need to add photos and information in order to make it a page that Facebook users will want to visit again and again.
Again, use your own photo rather than a logo or business graphic.
Step #5 Maintain Your Facebook Page – A Long Term Plan for Profit
Your work isn’t done once you’ve launched your page. You will have three primary functions to make your Facebook page a profitable success.
Network and Connect
Promote your Facebook page on your email signature, on your homepage, and in other social networks that you’re a part of. Integrate your fan page into your existing marketing tactics and strategy.
Consistently Add Value and Content
Consistently add fresh and valuable content. Post links, create discussions, publish pictures and content. Post surveys and have fun with applications.
Study Your Results
Finally, it’s important to stay on top of your page to ensure it is meeting your goals. Facebook provides a wealth of information to help you stay informed. You can analyze:
The number of interactions you have had with fans each day or week.
The number of comments you had on your posts.
The demographics of your fans
Now You Know, Now You Can Do Better
Facebook fan pages are an exceptional tool to achieve a number of business building goals. Whether you’re driving traffic to your website, building your lead list or actually selling products or services on your page, the end result is a boost in profits.
Create your goals, research your audience, plan and create your page to support your goals. Once your page has been published, create a long-term plan to maintain it by consistently adding valuable content, networking with users and fans and tracking results. Profits will naturally result from your dedicated efforts.
