In the past few months I have been thinking about how can I give back to my community. I've thought about volunteering, offering free workshops, or giving money. But recently I donated art to an art auction. I decided to do some research on this charity - Planned Parenthood.I've used Planned Parenthood myself in college. It really helped to have an organization that offered advice and materials to help me through those college years. I was amazed at all the services and educational programs they offer now.
Then it CLICKED- For every artwork sold at my etsy shop and for every workshop I conduct , a percentage of my profits would go to Planned Parenthood. I am very happy about this choice. This is not all I planned to do with Giving Back- I want to volunteer my time and skills somewhere, but I just do not know where.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
