Pricing artwork is something I struggle me often. I am not sure to price it based on what's happening in the ecomony or price it based on who can offend to buy my artwork. Well I came across this great series from Esty. And it has really helped me with pricing my artwork. I hope it helps you with pricing your work also.
I have a girlfriend, Camille who is working on becoming a fashion designer. She is entering her first fashion week, which will be held in Charlotte, NC. She has a background in fashion but she is not working in the field. Like many of us, following a dream.
I was really glad to help Camille out with this project. She hired me to create a banner for her blog and to offer her advice on marketing. We will soon have her facebook up and running. And I hope to start her off with tweeter also. But I have to take one step at a time. Camille wanted to use her blog to allow others a chance to see the process of creating a collection. She takes through selecting fabric, color schemes, creating patterns and much much more.
Check her out at Gaulene's Dream.blogspot.com Go ahead follow this new up incoming designer on her journey to fashion stardom. We have all had a dream, so let cheer Camille on with hers.
Below is the banner that was created, it is inspired by her sketches and her overall clean, and classic fashions.
What dreams do you have? Send me your comments.

This Sunday I will be 38 years old. It does not seem like I am really getting older. I feel wonderful and I am totally enjoying my life, it could not be better. Of course there are some ups and downs, but it would not be life, if we did not have some type of excitement.
My plans are to spend time with my guy and my family. My birthday falls on Easter Sunday, so there will be plenty of food to eat and people around to celebrate with.
In my 38 years of life I have accomplished and experienced some wonderful things - found a job I love, started a business, acquired new and fabulous friends, finished my BA, MA degree and is working on finishing my doctorate degree. I brought my first house, decorated it all by myself, started a art career, and I've been able to spend quality time with my 93 year old granddaddy.... the list goes on.
I just so grateful for another year. I am totally looking forward to many more, and for bigger and better life events.
